SB843: Allows school districts and community college districts to own wind turbine generators creating their own electricity.

SB1224: Requires the Illinois Housing and Development Authority to create a program that would supply a down payment program on homes for teachers working in schools with a high staff turnover rate.

SB1253: Makes several changes to the powers of a community mental health board.

SB1099: Makes violations of legal protections for military personnel a civil rights violation.

SB1576: Penalizes out of state corporations doing business in Illinois who do not pay property tax to units of local government and school districts.

SB1865: Increases the limitation on damages recoverable through the Parental Responsibility Law from $20,000 to $200,000.

SB2744: Allows the municipalities the option to require that firefighters meet certain certification standards.

SB2748: Allows fire trustees time off from their regular jobs to attend fire district meetings.

HB285: Requires DCEO to provide a grant program for schools to create renewable energy sources in school.

HB357: Extends the time period for schools, outside the Chicago School District, to transfer money from specified funds for any purpose.
